The Mitica series of interior glass doors is distinguished by its sharp aesthetic, due to the aluminium framework that houses the glass centrally and the geometry of the sash frame, which is made with 18×38mm uprights and 36×38mm crosspieces. Thanks to top manufacturing technology and the product’s long history, Mitica doors are available for all types of openings.

Door Types
MITICA ROTOTRANSLATING DOORS
The rototranslating system allows the panels to rotate on their own centre distance and move up to the wall without the need for any floor track. This technology allows you to have panels up to 130 cm wide, which, when closed, are perfectly aligned to the walls and, when open, free up over 90% of the passageway.
The guide pin of the sliding door is fixed to the floor and helps the door slide perfectly.
The lock support (if required), painted in the same finish as the frame, also acts as a handle for opening the door. The lock cylinder is aligned with the outside of the lock support.
FREESTANDING SYSTEM
The polyurethane wheel applied to the frame creates friction when in contact with the floor, helping the door to not swing on its own (Optional fitted on request).
The seat where the sliding door carriage is inserted is hidden by a cover in the same finish as the frame.
The slot for the carriage of the sliding door is concealed by a plastic cover in the same finish as the frame.
The doors open completely to optimize the available space.
MITICA SLIDING POCKET DOOR
The Mitica sliding pocket door defines the room by optimising the usable space through the door’s complete opening capacity. In fact, this system allows the door, equipped with a pull handle integrated with the upright rod, to fully slide into the wall, ensuring maximum opening capacity. The door, distinguished by the handle fitted directly onto the glass, the minimalist frame, the 18mm uprights and the 36mm crosspieces can, upon request, be fitted with a lock.
The door sliding inside the wall can be installed in the most popular traded subframes without jambs.
The door sliding inside the wall and inserted in the standard subframes fit on both sides of the jambs, which are arranged for the application of aluminum or glass casings.
The sliding pocket door, tucked into the traditional counter-frame, features a jamb designed to accommodate the aluminium or glass frame on both sides. Alternatively, one may also opt to have a sheet of plasterboard added on one side.
The sliding pocket door inserted into the counter-frame is flush to the wall and has no jamb. Upon request, it is possible to complete the opening with the minimal casing kit.
MITICA SWING DOOR
The swing door in the Mitica collection is distinguished by a door with an 18mm frame that allows one to choose what jamb to integrate into the wall, depending on stylistic/design requirements. In fact, they range from eclectic aluminium jambs that can feature glass/aluminium casings, flush to the wall jambs (with plasterboard or wood panelling), to flat jambs, and visible or recessed jambs.
1. The internal pivot hinge is totally concealed within the door’s profile, ensuring linearity and clean lines by limiting the opening to 120°. 2. The external pivot hinge enables the door to open up to 180°, and is adjustable.
Aluminium or glass architrave, or a 12.5 mm thick
sheet of plasterboard, can be applied to the jamb
for cable covers of the swing doors.
Jamb for casings utilising the minimal 28mm casing.
The wall flush jamb is available for either brick
or plasterboard walls.
2-sided jamb top hinge
The pivot hinge, back-and-forth or with pivot stop, is applied to the corridor jamb and is adjustable thanks to the latter’s telescopic structure.

The pivot hinge, back-and-forth or with pivot stop, is applied to the corridor jamb and is adjustable thanks to the latter’s telescopic structure.
A concealed hinge with 3-axis adjustment is used
in all the swing doors for corridor installation, with visible or recessed jamb.

The hinge for the pivot opening without jambs is integrated into the door frame’s profile.
The ceiling-mounted rail also includes the pivot
hinge of the first leaf.
The floor recessed guide is used when 2 or 3
bifolding leaves all fold away to then same side
(to the right or left depending on the choice of
opening).
The handle, model X5, is enclosed in the door’s profile and painted in the same finish as the door frame.
The pair of doors open almost completely, thus minimising the overall dimensions as much as possible (the doors’ total size is 17cm, including the profile of the end stop relative to the wall).
