The Japo Japanese-style door is characterised by its elegant intersecting vertical joists and thin, recessed horizontal crosspieces. The door is available in three design variations – J1, J2, and J3 – each defined by different joist treatments.
Door Types
JAPO SLIDING DOOR
The Japo sliding door offers dynamic, ever-changing graphic patterns as its moving panels overlap, evoking the aesthetics of Japanese design.
The guide pin of the sliding door is fixed to the floor, ensuring smooth and precise movement.
The X14 handle is seamlessly integrated between the crosspieces.
FREESTANDING SYSTEM
An optional polyurethane wheel, applied to the frame, creates friction with the floor, preventing the door from swinging freely and ensuring smooth, controlled movement.
The sliding door carriage is concealed by a plastic cover in the same finish as the frame.
JAPO ROTOTRANSLATING DOORS
The rototranslating systemallows the panels to rotate on their own centre axis and slide flush to the wall without requiring a floor track. This innovative technology supports panels up to 130cm wide, ensuring perfect alignment with the walls when closed and providing over 90% of the passageway when open.
JAPO SLIDING DOOR WITH TRACK
The advanced opening technology of the Japo sliding door with track allows the doors to fully overlap.
JAPO PIVOT DOOR
The Japo pivot door, available in the same three designs (J1, J2, and J3), provides a range of stylistic options. Its pivot opening system, free from jambs, ensures clean and minimalist lines.
The pivot hinge is integrated directly into the frame profile, emphasising its sleek design while eliminating the need for preparatory fixtures.
The pivot opening system can be configured with a central or offset pivot point and allows the door to swing in both directions. It includes an automatic stop mechanism and a 90-degree doorstop for enhanced functionality.
